always reddy for 4-21-69 VLBlues,
yet I have to say my favorite by a nose is the 20:20
O'Keefe VLB from 1967-08-04

The opening zingers pull me right in, and the mid-section jam is just right, mellow and strange at the same time.

Listening to it right now.

A nice antidote to the thinking man's Dark Star that almost gave me flashbacks an hour ago, from 1989-10-26.

Spooky stuff from the Outer Limits of the Twilight Zone at the center of the universe, where Viola Lee collides with dark matter at the barbed wire whipping party!

Thankx cream-puff-war. Is 8-4-67 the show from Canada w/ the Jefferson Airplane? Also, 4-6-69 is not a bad one either.

Oh yeah, the Dead and Airplane made a lot of new fans that week in Toronto, by most accounts.

Here's the handbill for the gig...
